About The Bishop Kelly Foundation

The non-profit Bishop Kelly Foundation was created in 1976 to support the values and objectives of Bishop Kelly High School. The Foundation’s principal goal has been to provide funding — for scholarships and operations — that will keep Bishop Kelly as the premiere choice for schooling in the Treasure Valley and help ensure a BK education is accessible for all regardless of financial ability.

For the 2024-2025 school year, the Foundation will provide more than $850,000 to support the school via an unrestricted grant, currently used by the school as part of its operating budget, which benefits all families. These funds were derived from the proceeds of the Foundation’s annual fundraiser, the Winner’s Choice Dinner and Auction and revenue from the endowment fund, which currently is valued at over $18,000,000. In addition, the Foundation will provide over $765,000 in need-based financial aid to students at Bishop Kelly for the 2024-2025 school year. This aid comes from gifts and memorials to our various scholarship funds, revenue from endowed scholarships and private donations and from donations made during the Fund-A-Scholar portion of the Winner’s Choice Auction.
